Wondering... What else I can crochet. I've made five of those owls I posted about in my Tea of the Week this week. Now I'm working on a blanket but I'm already thinking of what I want to make next!
Running... In between my classes this semester. For some reason all the buildings I have to be in are REALLY far apart this semester so I basically have to speed walk/almost run to get to my classes on time.
Winning... At battling my stress this semester! Or at least I'm doing way better. I've discovered that crocheting is a great (and fun) way to take my mind off my school work. I crocheted so much this week I actually got a big blister on my hand!! I looked at my hand as I was driving home and I was like, "How did that get there???" then when I picked up my crochet hook I looked and the end of the hook was right where the blister is... Ouch
Calling... No one really, But I am getting lots of emails. Mostly from the school but some about wedding things! Our wedding is just over four months away!!
Finishing... Lots of assignments this week. I didn't realize how much homework I had this week until Tuesday, Two online midterms, One design document, One Assignment and Four Discussion posts! I'm hoping next week will be less busy.

Tea of the Week-Thanksgiving Tea
I have a confession to make. I am hooked... On crocheting!! (anyone get that AMAZING pun?)
I recently decided I was going to learn to crochet and since then I have been crocheting like a mad women. I've made headbands, scarves, hats and these super adorable owls!
But in doing this I have kind of neglected blogging. But I decided that today is the day for a new tea of the week! Here we go!
This weeks tea of the week is from Bentley Tea House in Fergus! It's called Thanksgiving tea. I tried it back in December when my mom and I went to the tea house for lunch! I love going there, the staff are super friendly, the food is great and they have an awesome selection of tea! We had a meal, tea and scones, which were all delicious! Thanksgiving tea is a herbal tea with cranberries and cinnamon. It's really relaxing and perfect for these cold winter days we've been having.

Resolving... To eat breakfast more in 2015. Since my last year of high school I have not been eating breakfast on a regular basis. And one of my overall goals in life is to take better care of myself so that I can fully take care of others. I thought that this year a practical way I could take care of myself would be to eat breakfast on a regular basis. I've missed a few days so far, but four of the days so far this week I have had something for breakfast! That's pretty good in my eyes.
Planning... Our honeymoon! We decided that we will be going to Costa Rica to the Tree Houses Hotel. We won't be going to a beach, but it will definitely be warm! (Much better than the -30 degree weather we have had around here!) Andrew and I are more of adventure-y tourist-y people than lay on a beach all day type people. It's crazy that in five months I will be on my honeymoon!
Cleaning...Up my room. Well actually, I cleaned it up last week and it's still pretty clean now, but not as clean as before.
Leaving... Lots of time to drive to school. The roads have been pretty bad lately and I hate being late, so I've been leaving double the time to get to class. I get there early, but it gives me time to get some of my reading done.
Thinking... About lots of things, mostly school work and how I'm going to organize everything this semester. This semester I'm taking on five classes instead of four so we will see how everything goes. So far I think I have everything under control

DIY Wedding Aisle Decorations
It's been a while since I've posted anything wedding related. Today I am going to share with you the decorations Andrew and I (mostly me) made to hang on the pews at the church! I'm so excited with how they turned out.
You Will Need:
-Tulle
-Clear Hair Elastics
-Paper Flowers (But really you could do the same thing with anything you wanted)
-Ribbon (I used 7/8" wide white ribbon)
-Measuring Tape
-Scissors
-Wire
-Hot Glue Gun and Hot Glue
Instructions:
1) Make small bouquets of paper flowers. I used five of the paper flowers that match the ones I created for the centerpieces, bouquets and boutonnieres. We made a small bouquet and stuck them together with hot glue and wire.
2) Measure the pews at the location of your wedding ceremony. You'll need to know how tall the pews are so you can cut the tulle to the correct length. The pews at the church I'm getting married at are 34" tall. So I cut pieces of tulle that were approximately 68" (Heights of pews x 2) long. Each decoration has two pieces of tulle. So I ended up cutting 64 pieces of tulle that were 68" long by 6" wide. I actually used the tiles on the floor of my parents kitchen to measure and cut the tulle. Three tiles were approximately the length I needed so I rolled the tulle out on the floor, weighed the one end down with a candle and cut the tulle every three tiles. My dad actually came up with the idea. It saved me a lot of time.
3) Take two pieces of the tulle you cut and fold them both in half. Then I put an elastic nine and a half inches from the fold to keep the tulle together and help keep the flowers in place.
4) Wedge the tulle in between the flowers to keep the flowers in place.
5) Tie a piece of ribbon right underneath the flowers. I did this to help cover up the wire from the flowers and I also liked the look of it. I cut my ribbon into pieces that were about 24" long.
6) Repeat steps 3-5 for all your decorations! I made 32 and I plan to put them on every other pew in the church
I'm really pleased with how they turned out! Leave a comment and let me know what you think!
