April Report Card

April has come and gone, so now it is time to update you, my loyal readers, on how my goals for the month went. If you missed my goals, you can find them here.

Finish up Second Year|A

I was successful! I maintained my averages in all of my courses. I'm so proud with how I did this semester.

Spring Clean|B

I cleaned my room very thoroughly, I got rid of two garbage bags full of stuff and I sent one garbage bag over to the thrift store. However I didn't clean my car, I took out all the garbage but I didn't vacuum or dust it.

Finish Paper Flowers|A+

I finished all of the flowers! And I even put them into some of the bouquets! I'm so relieved to have this done.

Take a Break|B-

I did well with this, up until the last half of April, I got so excited about the crafts I was doing for the wedding that I forgot to take a break some days, and I got pretty burned out.

Revamp My Blog Design|A+

I'm so happy with how the changes turned out!

Make My Master Wedding To-Do List|A

I did this! I'm so proud of myself, and it's pretty detailed. I'm sure I missed things, but I can always add to it. Now it's time to start checking things off the list!

Overall Grade|B+

I'm happy with how I did on my goals this month, I feel like I really made use of my time off before work starts again (which is Monday!!). How did you do on your goals?

Mid-April Goal Update

These are some of the paper flowers! They still need some buttons but they are almost done!
So I meant to post about this yesterday, but I was too determined to finish the paper flowers and I ran out of time to blog, so I'm doing it today.

Here are how my goals for this month are going. If you haven't seen my goals for the month, you can find them here.

Finish up Second Year

I finished my last exam of second year on Monday! I haven't gotten my marks back yet, but I feel pretty good about them.

Spring Clean

I tidied a bit of both my car and my room, but they are now disasters again, so I still need to do this. But my dad is going to clean the carpets, so I need to have this done by the 26th.

Finish Paper Flowers

I have 54 flowers left to make. And they are the flowers that take less time. The good news is that I finished the ones that take the longest. I'm so proud of myself, and I hope to finish the other 54 today or tomorrow.

Take a Break

This is going okay, It was easier when I could take a break from studying, which I am not a fan of. But now that I'm just doing things that I like, I'm finding it difficult to force myself to rest. I'm going to try to improve this.

Revamp My Blog Design

As you can probably tell, I have already done this! I love how it turned out.

Make My Master Wedding To-Do List

I haven't started, I'm hoping to do this on the weekend since Andrew and I have a long car ride to Sarnia to visit family this weekend.

That's how my goals are going so far. How are your goals going?

Monthly Goals-April 2014

For those of you who have been following Camp Girl in the Real World for a long time you will know that I used to link up from Kelli from She Learns as She Goes and Blimey Cow once a month to post some of my goals for the month. A while back I stopped doing them because I found it too stressful and was almost always disappointed with myself at the end of the month. I've decided that with school almost ending, it would be a good time to bring them back! Kelli no longer does the link up, but I've decided to do it anyways. Here are my goals for April:

Finish up Second Year

This semester has been crazy, and I'm so excited that I'm almost done. I only have one more assignment, 1 take home exam and three other exams. My goal is to maintain my averages in all my classes.

Spring Clean

My room and my car are a disaster. I really need to clean them, and I will have extra time once the semester is over.

Finish Paper Flowers

For our wedding I have about 1000 paper flowers to make, and I have just over 600 made. I'm hoping to get all of the paper flowers done by the end of April, and I think I can do it, as long as I don't procrastinate too much.

Take a Break

I need to remember to relax. So this month, I am going to try to take a break every morning. I'm going to make sure I take a break at some point in the day to have a cup of tea and NOT DO ANYTHING ELSE. Just rest and enjoy the coffee or tea.

Revamp My Blog Design

It's time for a bit of a change, so this month I'm planning on updating my blog design, I already have some ideas and as you may have noticed, I already started! Are you pumped? I am.

Make My Master Wedding To-Do List

I've been wanting/needing to do this for a while. I need to make a huge and detailed list of all the things that I need to get finished. And I've been kind of dreading this, but it needs to get done.

There you have it! My goals for the month of April! Leave a comment letting me know some of your goals for this month!

Mid-June Progress Report

Hey everyone, Sorry this is a little late, but here is a quick update on how my goals for June are going.

Read my Bible and do my Devotions

My devotions have been going well, and my bible reading is going better this month than in May. According to my calculations, I should have 11 entries, and I only have 5... yikes. I'll have to keep working at this.

Keep up with school work

This is going well, I finished my first assignment. However I messed up on a couple of my labs. It's nothing I can't come back from.

Blog at least twice a week

I think I'm doing pretty well with this. Even though I had/still have a bad case of writters block.

Put away laundry

I am doing better with this in June, but I'm hoping to get better before the month ends

Read One Book

I finished the second Harry Potter book, I haven't started the third one yet, but I will soon.

Thats how I'm doing this month, How are you?

June Goals

Hey Everyone! Happy June! Today I am linking up with Kelli from She Learns as She Goes. Here are my goals for this month:

Read my Bible and do my Devotions

I'd like to do this 5 days a week. I am really struggling with this goal. I do have a new plan this month however. I would like to do my bible reading in the morning before I go to work. I saw this pin on pinterest and I am going to try it out, kind of a way to keep track of my progress and keep me accountable. The idea is that it takes 21 days to create a habit, so you have one sticky note per day and when you complete your task you rip off the sticky note. We'll see how this works out. Along with this goal I would also like to keep doing my devotions before I go to bed at night.

Keep up with school work

I did a very good job with this in May and I hope to continue to keep up with my course readings and labs.

Blog at least twice a week

This kind of got away from me in May. I want to blog at least twice a week this month

Put laundry away...

...The moment it comes out of the dryer. I find my room often gets so messy because I haven't put my clothes away. I hope to keep my laundry clutter to a minimum this month.

Read one book

I'd like to finish the second Harry potter book (I'm almost finished) and I would like to finish the third book.

Here are my goals for the month of June! Make sure to check out Kelli's blog!

Good luck with your goals if you have them!

May Goals

Hey Everyone! It's the beginning of May, which means I am linking up again with Kelli from She Learns as She Goes.  Hopefully this month I can do a lot better on my Bible reading among other things. But as I am writing this I am realizing how much is changing this month! It is going to be busy. I am starting a new job (my first real job!), my parents are going on a cruise, so I am taking care of the house and my brother and I am starting a new summer course! I'm a little nervous about all this.

Here are my goals this month:

Keep up to date with my Bible readings and Devotions.

I did not do very well with this last month, My goal is to do my bible reading plan 5 days a week and keep up with my devotion book.

Start my new job.

I got a job, as a software tester and developer for the summer! I'm very excited about this. I hope to survive my first month without a ton of stress, and when I do get stressed, I at least hope to manage it well.

Sleep

I also didn't do very well with this last month. I hope to get at least 8 hours of sleep a night this month.

Start and keep up with my online summer course

I am taking a course online over the summer in order to get ahead in the fall. I hope to start and keep up with my course work this month.

Manage stress

I have been having some trouble managing my stress. I hope to learn a bit more about how to manage my stress and what causes it. This goal is probably going to be the most difficult.

Read 1 book

I'd like to read at least one more book this month, it was so much fun last month.

These are my goals for the month, What are yours?

In a way it seems like April just started, but at the same time the beginning of April seems like such a long time ago. Today I am linking up with Kelli from BlimeyCow and She Learns as She Goes. If you missed it, at the beginning of April I posted about my goals for the month and now that April is over it is time to tell you guys about how I did on my goals. The post is here if you missed it.

Finish Second Semester: B+

I almost made my goal of 70's in my computer science. Only one of my courses was below 70. I did make my goal of 60's in my geography. This semester was really tough, and I'm really proud of how well I did.

Spring Clean: A

I got my cleaning done! It didn't even take that long.

Sleep: C

I have been having trouble sleeping lately, so I didn't do as well on this, but I did make an effort.

Book G License Appointment: A+

I booked and paid for my appointment, I may have to reschedule it, but I did book it.

Read at least one book: A+

I finished the first Harry Potter book. And I am hooked on the second one, it feels good to read for fun again.

Keep up to date with Bible readings and devotions: C-

I didn’t do so well with this. I really tried. I kept up to date with my devotions but not my bible reading plan. This is going to be a continuing goal next month.

April Goals

I've mentioned Kelli from blimeycow in a post before, and every month she posts her goals for the month and then at the end of the month she evaluates herself and gives herself a report card. I thought I would try it this month.

Here are my April Goals!

1) Finish Second Semester

I would like to do this with at least 60% in my geography courses and 70% in my computer science courses. This is what's required in order for me to stay in co-op. Obviously I will aim to get a little higher, but I will be happy with just 60's and 70's.

2) Spring Clean

Matilda (my 2007 Nissan Versa) has gotten really dirty over the past two semesters. I hope to clean out my car inside, including vacuuming, washing the windows, and dusting everything. During the semester my room has been neglected. I really need to clean it and put everything where it belongs.

3) Sleep

I haven't been sleeping well the past few months. I'm finding that it is making me extra irritable. I need to get more sleep

4) Book my G license appointment

I've been putting off doing this, but this summer I need to get this done so that I won't have to worry about it during the school year.

5) Read at least 1 book

I'm hoping to read the Harry Potter series (shocker I know, I have never read them) and I'm hoping to finish the first one this month.

6) Keep up to date with bible reading and devotions

I've started a devotion book with Andrew (well, different books, but they are related) and I want to keep on track and not miss any days this month. I also want to read my bible more (I've really fallen behind on this) and my goal is to do the SOAP Bible reading plan at least 5 days a week in April.

7) Get Outside!

I'd like to get into the habit of walking more, or biking or being more active. At least 3 times a week. I find it really relaxes me and helps me de-stress. I really should do it more.

Do you have any resolutions this month?

Happy Monday!
