Current Favourites

Hey everyone! This week is really weird for me. I don't start school until Friday. And it seems like almost everyone else my age has started school today, So I'm stuck waiting for school to start for the next few days. It's really weird. This semester will hopefully bring new challenges and opportunities to learn more about myself and get myself closer to getting my degree. I'm excited and nervous. Here are my current favourites for this week:

Camp Cherith Slipper Socks

Andrew got me these while he was at camp and it is just getting cold enough for me to wear them. They are super cozy and comfortable. I love them.

New Phone

I got a new phone. It's a blackberry Z10. I absolutely love it!

Bike Basket

Remember that cool fabric I got from walmart? I made something with it! I found this project on pinterest a long time ago and I finally made it! It was so easy and it didn't take long at all! I'm really happy with how it turned out. You can find the tutorial here.

New Planner

I love new school supplies. I got this planner at walmart a little while ago. I really like it!

Tim Hortons Coffee

I love timmies, this is not a new realization. I just especially liked my Tim Hortons coffee today.

I finished my exam! I am so relieved. I was under a lot of stress and a lot of that had to do with the online course I was taking. I now feel so much more relaxed. I haven't told you guys about my current favourites in a while so I thought that this would be a good way to celebrate the end of my summer course. So without further a-due, here are my current favourites:

Seeing My Best Friend

I got to see this lovely lady today!

Katelyn is my best friend. She is so special to me and I don't get to see her very often but when I do I almost always feel better. She is amazing!

Andrew's Sweaters

Andrew let me borrow a couple of his sweaters while he is gone at camp. There's just something about the way his sweaters smell that makes me feel so happy. 

"Real Mail" 

My friends from camp have been sending me letters! I absolutely love getting mail from people, especially real mail (mail delivered by a mail man). Something about hand written letters feels so intentional, like whoever wrote it put actual thought into it. Email sometimes seems like it can be thrown together so quickly. I love real mail.

New Fabric

I got this fabric from walmart recently, I'm so excited to use it! Keep your eye out for a post about what I create with it!

Camera Remote

I got a camera remote recently. I really like it, here's a picture from when I first got the remote.

I'm so excited that my exam is over! I'm so happy that I can blog guilt-free now! Keep your eye out for more posts here now that classes are out!

Hey everyone! Things have been very busy for me lately, but I think after this week it will be a whole lot better. I have a ton of blog posts planned, just not written out. I'm hoping to have a blog marathon and get a whole bunch written up and scheduled in to be posted. For today, here are my current favourites:

Pictures in Cubicle

I recently put up a bunch of pictures in my cubicle, it feels like its my own now, I love it. I ordered them from shutterfly, pretty cool website, nice and inexpensive pictures

Teapot

I got this super cute teapot from Andrew's family as a birthday gift, I am going to try it out tonight! I am so excited

Camping Pictures

I went camping this past weekend! It was really fun, I have a whole bunch of pictures and a blog post about it coming up this week! Keep an eye out for that

Tea

My parents brought me back tea from their trip to the mediterranean. I am so excited to try it!

Hey Everyone! Happy Tuesday! I hope your day is going absolutely splendidly. Here are my current favourites this week:

1) My parents are home!

My parents went on a cruise for a little over a week and they got back yesterday! I am so glad to have them back.

2) Gum

I really like excel spearmint gum, and I thought I would throw that in here this week

3) Leftovers

I am rediscovering the joy of leftovers. They are so nice to take in to work for lunch!

4) NCR swag

As you may already know I recently started a job. I got a nametag and a waterbottle.

5) Sticky Notes

I love sticky notes. Especially at work. They are just so useful!

Wow, this week has been absolutely crazy! I started work, and I like it, it's a little stressful though. I didn't have much free time with taking my brother to football and taking care of the house. So I wasn't able to write current favourites on Tuesday, but here it is now!

2) Pizza from Andrew

I was having a really stressful day earlier this week and Andrew came over to help me take Stephen to football practice. With him he brought Pizza, Root Beer, Cake, and Flowers. He is the sweetest guy ever!

3) Lipton Raspberry Passion Fruit Green Tea

I've liked this tea for a while, but I re-discovered it this week and I've fallen in love with it all over again.

4) New notebooks

I got a new notebook for work, I love getting new notebooks and school stuff.

5) Gilmore Girls

With the birthday money I got from my relatives I bought all of the seasons of Gilmore Girls. I can't wait to watch them!

Hey there internet! This past couple weeks has been a little bit crazy for me. Filling out paper work, getting meal plans organized. Craziness. Sorry that current favourites has been delayed until today, with the end of April report card and May goals it's been busy in my blog world too!

Here are my current favourites:

1) Blogs

Andrew's Brother got a blog! I helped him pick out the name, which I'm pretty proud of. He's a really cool guy. Here is his Blog-Life of a not so Average Joe

2) Taking Pictures

With spring currently upon us I have gotten to take a lot more pictures, I really love taking nature pictures; here are some recent ones I've taken.

 

3) Ritz Crackers

I think these might just be my favourite crackers. They are oh so tasty.

4) Gain Fireworks

These things boost the scent of your laundry. They smell so good! I am so glad I got them.

5) Photoshop

I got photoshop for my Birthday, I am still learning about it but I really like how much more I can do with it.

Do you ever just have one of those days where you keep doing silly things? Well I've had a couple days like that in a row. Yesterday I tried to make coffee without coffee grounds-it didn't work out so well. Today I went out the door without shoes on and wondered what felt different. Oh well. Here are my current favourites this week:

1) Sleeping

I've been pretty tired recently. I think university really drained my energy but I haven't noticed it until now.

2) Minecraft 

I'm currently working on a castle with guest bedrooms. It's super exciting, or at least I find it exciting.

3) My clean car!

I cleaned out my car yesterday! It feels like I have a brand new car! I'm pretty proud of it.

5) Outdoors!

I went for a walk this morning to get my plate sticker renewed, it is so nice out! I think I might go for another walk later today.

Current Favourites

I am officially done my first year of university. It feels so great! This year (well 8 months technically) has been such a learning experience. Here are my current favourites this week!

1) Minecraft

I got minecraft once I got home from my exam. I am so excited. I'm still getting the hang of it but so far I love it!

2) Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets

I finished the first Harry Potter book and now I'm on to the second book! I just started, but I am so excited to continue.

3) The world's smallest jigsaw puzzle

I got this from my parents a while ago. I haven't started this yet, but I'm planning to either later today or this week. It's so tiny!

4) Playing Xbox with my brother

Now that I'm done school I can spend time with my brother playing xbox. I'm not very good, but I really like being with my brother.

5) Rain

Now, rain isn't always a good thing. But a few days ago there was an ice storm, and it took down a few trees. So I'm just glad it's not ice anymore.

1) The Cuppow!

I've had this for a while, but it's still awesome and I want to share it with you. The cuppow is a lid that goes on a canning jar so you can drink out of it! It's pretty awesome. Here is where you can get one! I take my coffee to school in this and I made a sleeve for it because the glass gets pretty hot. I am hoping to make a new one over the summer and maybe even knit one.

2) Taylor Swift-RED

I love this CD. And I get to go to her concert in June! I'm so excited.

3) Kangaroo Water Bottle

My mom gave me this waterbottle for Valentines day. It's awesome. You press the button at the back to drink out of it and it doesn't spill everywhere!

4)Puns

I absolutely love puns. I think they are so funny.

Here are a few:

Never trust an atom. They make up everything!

Anything not related to elephants is irelephent.

How did the hipster burn his tongue? He drank his coffee before it was cool.

The church choir robes were too long and needed to be hymned.

He won the twister contest hands-down.

Some people take beautiful pictures and cut them into pieces. That's a puzzle to me.

5) New books!

My Harry Potter books came in the mail yesterday! I am so excited to read them!

Current Favourites

1) My new tea and coffee!

My parents got me some really awesome tea and coffee for Easter. I got Movie Night tea, which had popped popcorn in it! It's really awesome. I also got Sweet dreams tea, which I haven't tried yet but I'm really looking forward to. And my parents also got me Starbucks Blonde Roast coffee! Which is my favourite kind of coffee to make at home, It smells so good!

2) The Piano Guys-All of Me

I think the piano guys are amazing. Their music is so beautiful and this is by far my favourite song by them. It gives me chills.

I couldn't resist putting a code snip-it up. I am 4 days and 4 assignments and 5 exams away from being done this semester. SO EXCITED.

4) The Office

The Office is one of my favourite shows. It is so funny and can always make me laugh when I'm feeling sad. My all time favourite episode is "Stress Relief".

5) The Birds in the morning

I love that the birds are chirping in the morning now. It means that warmer weather is almost here! Walking around campus hearing the birds and not freezing is such a good feeling.

Here are a few of my current favourite things:

 1) Kiss Goodnight by Tyler Shaw

I've liked this song for a while now, but I just bought it off of iTunes today (I know, what took me so long!) I really like this song. It's really easy to sing to in the car and the artist's voice is absolutely beautiful.

2) My TOMS

I got TOMS a week or two ago, I have wanted them for probably around a year (I know, I know, why didn't I just buy them a year ago?!) Well, last year I had really bad back troubles from an old soccer injury, and because of it I have orthopedics that I have to wear. My back has been feeling so much better though, so finally I can get TOMS and not have to worry about wearing orthopedics with them. I love them!

3) S'mores Tea from Teopia

I absolutely love this tea. I've had it for a while and I really hope they still make it when I run out. I will definitely be buying more.

4) This weather!

Spring has finally arrived, even though it is only a couple degrees above zero, it is so nice outside. And the snow is FINALLY melting!! I can't wait until I can ditch my winter coat.

5) My Semester Almost Being Over!

I only have 7 more days of class left. I am so excited to finish the semester and get started with my summer! And I'm also excited to be able to spend more time updating this blog and making it super awesome! April 15th can't get here fast enough
