Hey Everyone! Happy Tuesday! This week has all about relaxation for me. I'm trying to get a lot done without wearing myself out. One of my favourite ways to end my day is with a nice cup of tea with the one's I love. This weeks tea is one of my favourite relaxation teas made my David's Tea. It's called Organic Sweet Dreams and you can find it here. This tea features chamomile and lemongrass and is fair trade certified. Which I think is pretty cool. I'm about half way done my tin of this tea and I think I will re-purchase it when I run out. It's a perfect after dinner tea. I highly recommend it!

A Year Of Dates-January
For those of you who don't know, for our anniversary this year I made Andrew A Year of Dates. That's twelve pre-planned and pre-paid for dates. This is the third of the twelve dates!
This was the date that I couldn't wait for Andrew to open. Andrew loves hockey, so I decided to take him to a GOJHL game to see the Elmira Sugar Kings play. What's the best game you can name?
Spoiler alert, it’s the good old hockey game!
For January's date let's go to a Sugar King's game.
There is enough money for two
adult tickets
and some extra money for snacks!
I'm so excited for our date!
Love, Sarah
We had planned to go on this date on a Sunday afternoon, but unfortunately school got extremely busy that weekend and we couldn't make it. But we decided instead to go see an away game in Guelph. And we were not disappointed.
We drove from Alma to Guelph, about 30-45 minutes, and stopped at Timmies along the way. I got Earl Grey tea, Andrew got a coffee. We talked and sang to the radio. There may have been some dancing involved. It was a good time.
We got to the arena, and found our seats. We were worried that we sat in the Guelph section, not the Elmira section, but then the Elmira players came out onto the ice and the people beside us went ecstatic. We knew we were right where we were supposed to be.
After the first period Andrew and I went and got some popcorn. It was excellent. There is something about popcorn from a movie theatre or sports arena that just tastes better. I'm not sure why.
The Sugar Kings ended up winning in a shootout 3-2, it was a really close and might I say well matched game. I'm not the biggest hockey fan in the world, but Andrew really likes it. So it makes me happy that he had such a great time, and I might be starting to like the game too.

Why Frozen is the Best
Yesterday Andrew surprised me with a date. We usually don't see each other until the weekends so when I finally finished my massive assignment that I had spent 40+ hours on and Andrew asked me if I wanted to go see Frozen I was pretty excited. I was worried that I was going to be too tired from working so hard on the assignment and that all my built up expectations from my friends about the movie would leave me disappointed. And I can confidently tell you that I was not. I'm so glad I went to go see that movie. It was so funny and had such a good message behind it. I highly HIGHLY recommend it to you. If you can go see it (Andrew and I saw the last viewing of it in the theatre near us), you definitely should.
I've been working on that massive assignment for over two weeks. I know this sounds silly, but I kind of forgot what it's like to relax and not worry about it. I needed this date. And Andrew knew I needed it. I feel so very special, and like I can conquer all the leftover assignments I have to do this weekend.
Anyways, Just wanted to share with you guys what a wonderful movie Frozen is! I hope you all have a lovely lovely weekend!
Here's the trailer, for those of you who are like "Sarah, what is this Frozen you are talking about?"

Tea of the Week-Movie Night
Hey Everyone! I am down to only two more kinds of Davids tea to tell you about. You know what that means? I need to go shopping! Oh yes, it is essential. Good plan Sarah, good plan.
Anyways. This weeks tea of the week is Movie Night! I got this tea a long time ago and I really love it. It's an apple green tea with popcorn. It has little bits of popcorn in it! Like popped-popcorn. It's pretty awesome. You can find it here. I'm a fan of it. It's such an interesting tea, and no one believes me when I say there is popcorn in it. I would recommend it if you are looking for an interesting green tea to try.
Also, I got this tea thermos for Christmas this year and I absolutely love it, and I thought I would tell you a bit about it.
This thermos will keep your tea hot for 8+ hours. It is completely leak proof, so you can throw it in your backpack and not worry about your delicious tea spilling all over your textbooks. It has a built in infuser and it even has a compartment for tea for later! I love it! I can get free hot water on campus so I can have as much tea as I want for not to expensive. I'm super impressed with whoever came up with this idea. They deserve an award. This is genius. If you are looking for a thermos and you enjoy tea, I suggest this one. You can find one here.

I Recently Got Instagram... And Re-Discovered That Andrew Is The Best
A little over a week ago I was working on this huge project for one of my computing classes. This class has a 70% failure rate. It is an extremely hard course, and I am so stressed and nervous about it. I spent almost my whole Sunday afternoon on the project with my dad. While I was working away Andrew asked me if he could borrow my phone. I gave him my phone and he installed Instagram on it as a surprise for me. It is a complicated process for Blackberry's. Andrew had to change some of the code from an Android app and then install it onto my phone (or something like that, I'm not entirely sure what he did). It took him a good amount of time. And it made me feel extremely special. He knew that I wanted Instagram, but that I wouldn't have enough time in the near future to go through the steps to get it. He is amazing. It's little things like this that make me feel like he wants to make me the happiest girl in the world.
So now I have Instagram! You may have notices the design of my blog has changed slightly, The link to follow me on instagram is on the left side as well as a slideshow of my photos. There is also a list of links to some of the blogs I really enjoy reading, so feel free to check those out!
So that's the story of how I got Instagram, I'm such a lucky lady!

10 Things I Like About Myself
I recently read a really great blog post from one of my favourite blogs Avoiding Atrophy. Christy (the author of this wonderful blog) wrote a post about 10 things she really likes about herself. She talked about how important it is that we aren't always so hard on ourselves and that we recognize that each one of us had good qualities that are unique and special to us. At the end of her post she challenged her readers to think of some things that they liked most about themselves. And I've decided to take up the challenge.
1. I'm a good seamstress. I have worked really hard to become good at sewing things. Like this dress:
2. My eyes are pretty. I love the colour that they are.
3. I'm good with technology. I know how to program computers and I love that I can transfer what I learn from school into my blogging design.
4. I love how creative I am. I love trying DIY things. And usually, they turn out really well.
5. I can make good food. Seriously, this is an essential life skill. And I've got it.
6. I make Andrew feel special. And I'm really proud of myself for that.
7. I take nice pictures. Here are a few of my favourites:
8. The colour of my hair. I love it.
9. I love the shape and size of my feet. Sometimes I look at them and think "Wow, I have such cute feet!"
10. I'm sticking through school, even though I want to quit and drop out so badly sometimes.

Tea of the Week-Happy Kombucha
Hey everyone! Happy Tuesday again! It seems like so long ago since I last wrote a tea of the week post! This past week has gone by fairly slowly. I'm hoping this week goes by faster and with less stress. This weeks tea is called Happy Kombucha. It is the third and final part of David's Tea's Happy Collection. It features oolong tea, mango, pineapple,Kombucha Powder, and safflower petals. It has really grown on me this past week. I didn't like it very much at first and I didn't think I would buy it again, but now I would be happy receiving it as a gift, but I probably wouldn't buy it for myself.
This is my Tea of the Week, What's yours?
Also, I got instagram! Feel free to follow me if you would like!

A Chapter A Day
Andrew's pastor (and our wedding officiant!) recently challenged the congregation to read through the Gospel of Mark this January. I've been doing my devotions with Melody Carlson's book "Devotions for Real Life" but I've been kind of slacking in my Bible reading. So I took up this challenge a week ago and so far I've been consistently reading one chapter a day. And I'm really proud of myself.
I'm so proud of myself that I'm going to challenge myself to do more. I want to continue reading a chapter of my bible every day. After I finish Mark I'm going to be reading 1 Timothy. I'm going to try to eventually read through the whole Bible, but I'm not going to overwhelm myself with that goal right now. I'll just take it one book at a time, chapter by chapter. I'm hoping I will be able to form a good habit of reading my Bible daily. I think I can do it.

My New Years Resolution
I only have one new years resolution this year. It sounds so simple to me but I know it is going to be so difficult. My new years resolution is to control my stress. School gets crazy, Wedding planning is complex and managing the rest of my life is proving to be a very difficult thing to do. So this year my new years resolution is to figure out what is triggering my stress and figure out how to either prevent it, or cope with it. I haven't quite figured out a plan on how to tackle this resolution, but I believe that I can do it. Or at least I will make some progress towards controlling my stress.
2014 looks like a very promising year. But one full of potential stress. I know that there has to be a way for me to handle stress better. I just need to figure it out.
What is you new years resolution?

Tea of the Week-Forever Nuts
Hey Everyone! Happy Tuesday. This week is my first week back at school for my second semester of my second year at the University of Guelph. And I'm already ready for reading week. This week I will be highlighting another tea from David's Tea's Happy Collection. This tea is called Forever Nuts. It's an apple, almond, cinnamon and beetroot tea which turns pink when you steep it! I loved it! I just finished the package and I am strongly considering buying more next time I go to David's Tea. If you're looking for a nice decaf tea to try out, I would suggest this one.
Sidenote- Did you know that Camp Girl in the Real World is on Facebook and Bloglovin'? Well it is! You can Like the facebook page or follow via Bloglovin'!

A Year Of Dates-December
December has proved to be a very busy month for Andrew and I. By the time we had the time (and energy) to do this months date, we didn't want anymore junk food. We are planning on doing this date later on and I promise I will post Decembers date again. I just didn't want to leave you guys hanging. Here is December's date:
Make Christmas Cookies!
Let's bake some cookies to share with our families.
Or not share, we could just eat them all!
We should have all the ingredients at my house.
I can't wait to throw flour at you!
Love, Sarah
